Once upon a time we thought that the MT6753 will stay with us forever, because of the sheer volume of devices with it being thrown in the market. Even these days you can find a freshly released device sporting this 2014 chipset. But it’s time for some small evolution and for example in the Blackview P2 ticks the new MT6750T.
The MT6750T is also an octa-core processor, but using the big.LITTLE architecture it has 4 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and 4 more efficient ones at 1.0 GHz. The GPU part also got improved showing Mali-T860MP2 clocked at 650 MHz and the RAM supports up to 4 GB of faster LPDDR3 at 833 MHz. Tons of other tweaks and features, but overally it’s a creeping evolution over the MT6753 and the benchmarks like Antutu will of course reflect that as seen in the video below.
Gizchina News of the week
One of the first devices utilizing the MT6750T is the Blackview P2 and roughly for $180 of value you are getting a 5,5-inch FullHD phone with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of storage, 13 Mpix rear camera with f/1.8, 8 Mpix front selfie cam, metal build and huge 6000 mAh battery capacity. The video shows the Antutu result being put at 44k something so it’s really a nice improvement over the older chipset and new cheap option for the lower midrange is born.

The function of the 6750t looks good, it’s a rare type, maybe we can buy the P2 and try use it.
