It seems like it was only a few months back that we first got to see 4GB RAM phones. ASUS did it, and then Xiaomi followed soon after. However, the call of 2017 is apparently 8GB RAM phones!
A new leak — that of the Huawei P10 Plus — has surfaced (not in China, but Spain… and you know why) with a hefty 8GB of RAM. The phone is going to be supported by a ‘smaller’ P10 (non-Plus), with both phones expected to show up at MWC 2017.
Huawei P10 Plus: High on everything, not just RAM
According to the source, the P10 Plus won’t just go crazy with 8GB of RAM, but will also feature other high-end tech. This includes a 2K/QHD (2560 x 1440p) 5.5-inch display, the aforementioned 8GB of RAM along with a whopping 256GB built-in storage.

The phone is also expected to feature dual-rear cameras, so Huawei are clearly planning to leave no stone unturned.
With these features, the Huawei P10 Plus is certainly not going to come in cheap. For now, while not entirely reliable, the phone is expected to go for $799 apiece.
Launch date
The phone is expected to be shown off at the upcoming MWC in Barcelona, but sales of the device are expected to start only by April. Stay tuned to GizChina for more news on this subject!
