It’s been almost less than a year since Lenovo introduced the Miix 310 2-in-1 Windows tablet that blew our mind with its affordable price – and value. The Chinese company is expected to launch its successor, Lenovo Miix 320 at Mobile World Congress by the end of the month, and from what we know so far, the changes will be minor.
Unlike the other tablet options in Lenovo’s portfolio, the Miix 3xxx family doesn’t sport a kickstand design (like Microsoft’s Surface model) and uses the good old “hinge” type connector, like the Asus Transformer model did back in the old days. It’s also aimed at affordable markets and users with minimal requirements, thus its price is also quite low.
Gizchina News of the week
According to today’s leaked information, this year’s Miix 320 will pack an Intel Atom X5-Z8350 SoC, with 2 or 4GB of RAM, and it will house a 10.1 inch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, a USB Type-C port and dual stereo speakers embedded at the front and at the bottom of the device. It may be offer mid-to-low specifications but its price is really great – for a 2-in-1 tablet and it will start at 220$!
How does it sound to you? Do you prefer this type of tablets?
I have bought yesterday a Lenovo X201t for only 120USD. Its specs are: i7 640 CPU, 2*2GB DDR3 ram, 320GB Sata II HDD, 12,1″ with 1366*768 resolution and a faking big battery but with a leightweight design. All who buy these affordable Intel ATOM sh*ts are reallife idiots! Intel does not support their Atom series anymore and its GPU side. Dont give a sh*t on these devices guys/girls.
On 14″ I dont see the meaning of FullHD. I dont miss it, maybe it is just me. 🙂
That’s not only you, but every person that wear glasses. Clear-sighted ppl can see differences between 720p and 1080p on a 14″ screen.
Another ilustration of the fact that nothing is totally positive or negative. You can’t see well (that’s negative for your life comfort) but you can be satisfied by a 720p 14″ laptop (that’s positive for your bank account).
