Vernee Apollo X aims to be world’s first Android 7 deca-core phone

Vernee Apollo X

Apollo X model is one of the new unveiled planned phones from Vernee and along the Apollo 2 it looked like these two would be the first to be actually released. And today’s news are supporting this theory fully, we should see the Apollo X maybe even sooner than we thought.

On their official Facebook page Vernee announced that the Apollo X will be launched in February and unveiled directly at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. Not much more added to the specification rumor mill, but they also said they are aiming for the Apollo X to be the world’s first deca-core smartphone running the Android 7.0 Nougat.

Gizchina News of the week

Which of course stirs a bit of a controversy, because the fans still remember the December promise of Vernee Apollo Lite getting the Nougat update so it could claim the deca-core crown. So of course people are a bit confused and we have to wait and see for the Apollo X specs so we have better idea where is going to slot in in their portfolio.

If Vernee doesn’t get the Apollo 1 a community success then avoid their products.
