Nubia are set to release a new device at MWC, but what it is is still a mystery.
After officially becoming a separate brand from ZTE some months back, Nubia has had a string of high profile launches, with the latest being the fantastic Nubia Z11 smartphone which I’m currently still using now.
The Z11 is a fantastic phone, but it’s not without it’s issues which is why I am quite excited about todays news.
Gizchina News of the week
A teaser direct from Nubia states that the phone company will have something new to show the tech community in Barcelona in a few weeks time, but what that might be is still very much a mystery.
The only unexplained Nubia leak with have from recent weeks is the one of the phone shown in the featured image above. The design appears fairly similar to the current Z11 but doesn’t have a rear fingerprint scanner as that current phone has.
It’s likely that this phone features a fingerprint scanner on the chin of the device and may well be one of the first to use Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint reading technology. The handset is also likely to feature high-end camera technology and features that we are use to seeing in other current Nubia handset.
