As a ‘regular’ smartphone, the T8 does have some decent grunt under the hood. However, the rather eccentric design and the 12 mega-pixel dual pixel selfie camera will ensure the T8 targets a very niche set of buyers (or we believe it will).
According to SlashGear, Dual Pixel tech refers to the fact that “each pixel in a sensor makes use of two photodiodes, one on each half of the pixel. These two photodiodes allow the sensor to make use of phase detect autofocus without the need for a separate phase detect AF sensor.”
The phone has been priced 3,300 Yuan ($480) in China.
