General Mobile is a Turkish (yes from Turkey) company that has already launched 2 Android One smartphones last year, dubbed GM05 and GM05 Plus. Things seem to be going really well for them so recently they unveiled the successor to the GM05 model, named GM06!
It’s an Android One smartphone running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, powered by a MediaTek MT6737T SoC with quad-core 1.5GHz processor, and sports a 5-inch HD display with a front facing fingerprint scanner embedded just below it. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage but it also offers microSD expansion slot for all those of you who want more.
Gizchina News of the week
On its back it hosts a 13MP main camera and just below its display it packs an 8MP selfie camera with a front facing flash. It measures 144 x 71.3 x 8.6mm and weighs approximately 150g, but all of these are necessary since inside it holds a 3000 mAh battery, that’s significantly increased in capacity when compared to last year’s GM05 model.
We have no news on pricing and availability but if we use last year’s model as example then it will be available in several European countries at a price around 199 Euros. But that’s all speculation so don’t get your hopes up until we have official information.
LOL … at the price
LOL … at the price
Why not a SD soc.
I have GM04 and sd soc is potent.
So save for the finger senor, that one would be a downgrade.
Ouch! The price knocked me out!
