OPPO R9s Plus official in Malaysia for $560

The OPPO R9s Plus, one of the hottest selling OPPO phones, has now made its way into the Malaysian markets.

The phone has been launched in the country with an asking price of RM 2498, that translates to roughly $560. Buyers in Malaysia will be able to choose between gold and rose gold colour options.

Besides being offered via third-party dealers (and the OPPO Online Store), buyers can pick up an R9s Plus via any of the OPPO Concepts Stores across Malaysia.

Gizchina News of the week

The R9s Plus is a large-screen variant of the OPPO R9s, which was recently in the news for being a rather hot-selling device in China. OPPO would be hoping to replicate a part of that success with the R9s Plus in Malaysia, which happens to be one of the more important markets for the Chinese smartphone maker.

Is that still a justified price tag, you think, 4 months after launch? With that CPU, and all the new announcements at MWC 2017?

Oh my gosh, that’s a lot of money!
What will they ask for a phone with the new 5x zoom one day?
