Well I guess with MWC 2017 almost gone it’s time to focus on more… important stuff (at least for some of us), like the imminent unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
According to recent rumors (from trustworthy sources), the Korean company has started mass producing the Galaxy S8 in its main production factory in Vietnam, aiming for more than 12 million units to be available during the first month of its launch! More specifically, Samsung will manufacture 4.7 million Galaxy S8 series handsets in March and 7.8 million in April. This combines for a total of 12.5 million units, ready to meet the high demand for the two flagship models!
Gizchina News of the week
Despite the fact that we have seen several images of the Korean flagship, we still don’t know much about the aspect ratio of the Galaxy S8. What we do know is that it will pack a 5.8 inch display but due to its purported 2:1 aspect ration it will be roughly the size of last year’s Galaxy S7 model. On the other hand, the Galaxy S8+ phablet will have an even larger display but it will still be about the same size as last year’s Galaxy S7 edge.
