LG G6: More than 40.000 pre-orders in S. Korea after 4 days!

I know you are not impressed by it, but LG seems to be quite happy with this number so who are we to judge? According to official reports the LG G6 has over 40.000 of pre-orders in South Korea in just 4 days and the numbers are still rising.

Remember that’s almost 22 days before Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are unveiled, so the Korean company is doing its best to gain the public’s interest regarding this device.

Gizchina News of the week

Just to remind you what we talk about, the LG G6 comes with an impressive 5.7 inch display with a strange resolution 1440 x 2880 resolution (QHD+) and carries an 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 SoC and comes with IP68 certification that allows it to be water/dust resistant and thankfully – not modular like its predecessor. It’s priced at 780$ and packs last year’s SoC so some might say that it’s expensive.

LG doesn’t seem to relate to that and they are really happy with the number of the presales so far. So once again, who are we to judge? 😉 Just so you know, the LG G6 will be available in South Korea in 4 days (March 10) so remember to have a look at it personally in a store around you.
