Newcomers ZOJI, who are aspiring to be the fresh breeze in the marsh of rugged phones are coming with the “there is no thinnest, but thinner” philosophy for their upcoming models. And their crusade against brick-like looking rugged phones will start at the end of the March when their first two models will be released.
First wiill be the cheaper and less powerful Z6, which with thickness of just 9.9mm will be probably the thinnest rugged phone around. But not so much inspiring with powerful hardware, 3G-only enabled MT6580 chipset is really nothing to write home about. But at least surely will be dirt cheap and can offer G+G Gorilla Glass, 8 Mpix + 5 Mpix GalaxyCore cameras, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and of course the IP68 certification.
Gizchina News of the week
Z7 will be quite unique among the standard looking rugged competition, the phone will be designed with smooth and textured exterior case looking like brushed metal. Apart of the looks it has MT6737 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage, necessary IP68 certification and Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS with a promise of quick upgrade to Nougat.
Presales of these two new ZOJI models will start in the middle of March so theoretically just in few days. According to the ZOJI officials we will all be surprised by the price so i can say only bring it on guys.
Zoji can learn something from the hisense rock a rugged phone that looks exactly like regular phones.. Mostly… But anyways back to the ovaries i go
How about google certification? I am wondering if all those new phones will be a bricks soon due to new(or old we should say) google rules.
i think the punishment , from 2017 onwards , for using 1 GB rams and 6580 , should be castration
There are many rugged smartphones on 2017, such as blackview bv7000 pro, all great.
