One of Vernee’s most successful phones, i.e. the Vernee Apollo Lite is now on sale with a $90 off discount making it cost a mere $159.99, a very interesting deal given the hardware it packs.
Before linking you to the sale, let’s go through the main selling points of the phone and how it does compare to — say for example — the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

High-end hardware
As you may have seen in the table above, the Vernee Apollo Lite packs pretty high-end hardware, going from the MTK Helio X20 deca-core CPU clocked at 2.3Ghz to 4GB of RAM.
Customized 5.5-inch Sharp IGZO
On the outside we find a beautiful 5.5-inch Full HD Sharp IGZO panel that produces a wide color gamut and has an increased responsiveness compared to AMOLED displays. The screen is also coated in 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Sharp’s IGZO panel has twice the frame frequency of IPS screens which should provide a smoother visual experience. The display is also 50% more power efficient and has a brightness of 450 nits.
The Vernee Apollo Lite sports some additional features such as “BluLight Defender” and “Chameleon Display” to reduce the stress on your eyes.
Pump Express Quick Charging
Vernee’s Apollo Lite also packs the latest Pump Express quick charging technology, charging your device at up to 12V/2A. That allows you to charge the phone up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Dual ISP Camera
The Apollo Lite boats a 16MP Samsung 3P3 rear camera with Dual ISP and PDAF autofocus for fast focusing in about 0.1 seconds. The camera has an aperture of F/2.0, a blue light filter and can record 4K videos.
Lossless Type-C music
Packing the latest USB Type-C connector, the Vernee Apollo Lite can take advantage of lossless digital music transmission to your headphones and thus produce better quality sound. Don’t get worried though, there’s still 3.5mm audio jack for those who aren’t sold yet on USB Type-C headphones, me included.
This sums up pretty much everything there’s to know about the Vernee Apollo Lite (here’s our review). If you’re interested in buying one, head over to Gearbest and get it for $159.99. Hurry up though, they’re selling like hotcakes!
