ZTE Z986 model spotted on GFXBench with 6 inch display, Android 7.1.1

It seems that a new ZTE phablet is in the works, at least according to what a recent GFXbench listing implies. A ZTE Z986 model was spotted earlier today on the notorious benchmark database, powered by an 8-core Snapdragon SoC clocked at 2GHz, Adreno 506 GPU, and a huge 6 inch full HD display.

The mid-range phablet offers a mere 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of storage, so this means it will be priced low, aimed at low-mid range users. It packs a 12MPixels main camera along with a 5MPixel front facing shooter and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat (thankfully).

We have no more info on this budget phablet from ZTE but I guess we will see it officially really soon.
