Popular Chinese tablet maker (and my personal favourite, for the X98 series) Teclast are up to something special in their upcoming tablet.
Known as the Teclast X3 Plus, the tablet packs a huge 11.6-inch display and is powered by the Intel Celeron N3450 quad-core Apollo Lake processor. Teclast certainly make some amazing budget tablets, but with this one, they’re clearly not targeting the budget market.
The X3 Plus comes with a hearty 6GB of RAM, along with 64GB of on-board storage that you can expand using microSD. With prices in the $350-400 range on online stores (a little unstable for now, wait a while if you want to order), the X3 Plus is certainly among the more expensive models coming from the company’s assembly lines.
Gizchina News of the week
The tablet features a 1920 x 1080p resolution through the 11.6-inch display, and a camera setup consisting of a 2 mega-pixel front and 5 mega-pixel rear sensor. A standard 3.8V 8000mAh battery powers the tablet.
A more expensive version of the tablet, with a Core M3 Skylake processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage has also been listed for around $150 more… known as the X3 Pro.
Anyone here planning to get one of these?
