LG plans to use its FullVision display on their next flagships

I guess that by now you all know about this impressive FullVision display that LG has equipped its G6 model with. It’s a 5.7-inch panel with a “special” 1440 x 2880 pixel resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with round corners, very little bezels around it and impressive contrast even in direct sunlight conditions.

Gizchina News of the week

If you’re not that fond of the LG G6 model – but surely love the FullVision display then you’re in for a treat, since LG plans to use it extensively in their upcoming flagship models! The Korean company recently  trademarked the FullVision logo and name in the US, Europe, and South Korea, basically confirming that they have high hopes for it. In addition they plan to launch an ad campaign in order to inform people on the advantages that displays with 18:9 aspect ratios and minimal bezel are offering.

We can expect new FullVision displays to be used in upcoming LG models, with similar characteristics like 18:9 aspect ratio and curved corners.

This is a terribly boring picture on the ad! If the focus is the display, just show something on it, LG?
