Xiaomi signs deal with Warner Music for its streaming service

Xiaomi is going big time with this one, trust me! The Chinese company just signed an agreement with Atlantic Records, Warner Bros. Records and Parlophone Records, all of them being under the Warner Music “umbrella”.

We’re talking about the 3rd largest recording company in the world, with hundreds of artists and millions of songs, available for all Xiaomi users from now on!

Xiaomi has been trying hard to improve (and expand) its music library for its millions of fans during the past few years and this agreement looks serious. It will allow users gain access to a wide range of foreign and local musicians, and also allow the Warner Music artists to access new markets.

Xiaomi recently updated their Music app with some new features, such as an advanced search mode, an immersive mode, artist’s info page, lyrics feature, cloud sync and more.

By the way do you use this specific Music app on your Xiaomi or prefer another app? Let us know in the comments below 😉
