Whats the difference between this and Apollo Lite?
Edit: Ok, I was just lazy. Different camera, more storage and maybe something else. Still not a reason to pay $40 more for it.

Plenty of reason, try a bigger battery and a newer revision of the Helio X20 without heating issues, and the camera especially.
This looks like a great phone for 200$

Agree with you full time. The Apollo lite is a much better bargain as by now it’s price has gown down significantly. Also, it has received an update to nougat sweetening the deal further. 4GB RAM, 32GB is pretty enough and if not you can always beef it up with a micro SD. As for the battery, every one learns to use what they get, 3000 is pretty good if you optimize the phone and use it well. Also the nougat update should increase the battery life. With all this in consideration, I don’t see the need of this X version.

Only bigger batery and different camera from the Apollo lite, they did a not so wonderful job with the 16MP described as OK for the price, let’s see if they correct the problem with the 13MP.. and thanks for the bigger battery. But am not sure if this is an improved Apollo lite with a bigger battery or a toned down Apollo with a bigger battery with the display toned down to 1080p from 2k.. Recently there was a review on the redmi note 4x, described as a phone that doesn’t need to exsist, but this vernee surely takes that title !!

I think this is a good option for the price, bigger memory and larger battery and so on compared to Apollo Lite.
Vernee VOS installed out of the box to. Maybe we see a own camera app or something rather than just standard MediaTek stuff?

And it also support VoLTE (Voice over LTE)
