While most news regarding LeEco has documented the many problems the company currently faces, there is a little good news on the horizon.
With LeEco selling off its offices in the U.S and cutting staff in India, you might be under the impression that the company is on it’s last legs and may not last much longer. In reality we don’t know if this is the case, but if it is they look like they will be going out with a bang.
LeEco are currently working on their next device, and in true LeEco fashion, their new phone features all the top of the range features that we have come to expect from Chinese handsets.
Gizchina News of the week
The smartphone will come with a dual curved glass display, similar to that found on Vivo and Samsung devices, and looks set to be the first Chinese mobile phone to get the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset.
In addition to the impressive screen and SoC specs, the new LeEco is rumoured to get dual rear cameras, each dedicated to either colour or black and white photography. Those rear cameras are rumoured to be both 13 mega-pixel sensors. Other rumoured details include 6GB RAM.
While it is guaranteed that the new LeEco flagship will launch in China it isn’t likely to be officially released in India. We’ll have to wait and see what happens for the U.S market.
