I think we can all agree there is no such thing as a completely unbreakable phone, but that’s not stopping Bluboo to claim their newest rugged piece Bluboo R1 is just that. But in all fairness if you look at the specs you have to admit it’s probably at least quite close to achieving that.
Bluboo R1 of course has all the rugged qualities coming from the IP68 specifications rating, but on top of that it adopts a special shatter resistant-structure for extra sturdiness and durability. And if you count in the 5th generation on Corning Gorilla Glass on the display the results are pretty good, testing suggests that the phone can remain intact and fully operational in 96 % cases of drops from a two meter height.
Gizchina News of the week
Of course there is much more to the new rugged Bluboo R1 than just the pure toughness angle, for example it will have monstrous 7150 mAh battery capacity, wireless charging support or cameras with large pixels. It would be surely worth checking the official website for more info in the weeks to come.
That’s what I’m wondering these last days of hype about the R1, which seems to be a possible candidate to replace my OnePlus (but still a long way to prove it all!).
How about software? Reliable updates and support? Freezes? Close to stock Android? Version? Any info would be great, thx.
i think a better alternative is the next vernee appolo 2
but the baterry of this one………..and this is a 5 inch, i dont like that, i prefer 5.5 inches
I actually prefer 5″ and IP68 & impact protection, and the rest of specs would do for me 🙂
