With just under 5 days before the official unveiling of Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus today we’ve got some interesting info on another upcoming model of the Korean company, and yes we mean the Galaxy Note 8. Just a couple of hours ago the specs and schematics of what is allegedly the Galaxy Note 8 have been leaked online and we have them here, just for you.
Gizchina News of the week
According to these specs, the purported device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 835 SoC and a brand new Exynos 9xxx SoC for selected regions – according to Samsung’s standard procedures during the past few years. The leak also insists that the Korean phablet will come with 6GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and a 6.4-inch QHD+ or 4K Super AMOLED display.
If you take a look at the schematics of the device you will probably see a lot of similarities with the Galaxy S8 basic design, with a curved display, minimal bezels on top and bottom, along with a front facing camera with an iris scanner. Oh and there’s also a dedicated button on the side for Samsung’s Bixby assistant like the Galaxy S8.
According to the same schematics, the Galaxy Note 8 will have a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom along with an S-Pen slot and a USB Type-C port. We have no info so far on a possible unveiling date but we will let you know when we do.
