There has been a bit of confusion lately to what LeEco will actually launch next, but whatever it might be it seems rather powerful!
Over the past few months we have seen rumours for the LeEco X650 which we assume is the LeEco Le 3 smartphone, but that’s where things get a little confusing. Where as previous rumours tell us the new Le 3 will launch with Snapdragon 835, we’re also seeing reports that a Mediatek Helio X27 might power the handset.
The benchmarks below come from a LeEco X650 smartphone with Mediatek Helio X27 chipset, which could actually be a budget variation of the flagship phone. The Mediatek Helio X27 is a deca-core tri-cluster processor made up of 2 x 2.6 GHz A72 + 4 x 2.0 GHz A53 + 4 x 1.6 GHz A53. Graphics are handled by an ARM Mali-T880 MP4. This gives the LeEco X650 a potent benchmark of 104,488 points.
Gizchina News of the week
Going off what has already leaked phone, we believe the LeEco Le3 will run a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, dual 13 megapixel main cameras, 8 megapixel front camera, 3900mAh battery and Android 7.1.2. We’ve also heard news that LeEco could launch the Le 3 with their very own personal assistant.
While all this sounds all well and good, we do worry that the we might actually ever get to see the Le 3 launch outside of China. LeEco have been suffering from financial problems recently and have had to fall back on selling their U.S offices and practically withdraw from India! Only time will tell what will happen of this Chinese smartphone maker.
Let eco’s greatest problem is their lack of Market understanding. People first want a good look. So, 2.5D glass, clear screen, beautiful color, high battery are required apart from what is inside. Rose gold matte color Le Eco 2 was not that good looking, Battery only 3000 mah, no expandable storage were also factors. Le Eco must consider all these aspects also such that the phone in hand looks gorgeous.
Le Eco is heading for world smartphone domination and will eventually be worth one billion dollars…If their software updates become timely.
the biggest problem of Le Eco was they jumped on too many ships. they should have concentrated on mobile division at least for 2 years before jumping on the TV market. they were already in content creation so they should have used it to benefit their mobile division… they had given a very good alternative to Mi series.
I bought the Leeco le1 and honestly, it was absolutely stunning. But since, the design didn’t really evolved and it even kind of went in the wrong direction… you are right, it does not look like a company with a good design strategy and a bright future
