Vernee Apollo X reservations are up with a special $40 coupon

Vernee Apollo X

First model from the new batch of Vernee models announced at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona is the Vernee Apollo X and starting today you can already reserve the phone with a nice $40 discount. But first let’s take a quick look at what would you be reserving.

Vernee Apollo X is not going for anything extra new hardware-wise, but trying to present a mixture of tried and tested quality components put together. So the phone uses Sharp IGZO 5,5-inch display with FullHD resolution, Helio X20 chipset with Mali-880 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64 GB of expandable inner storage, 3500 mAh battery with 9V/2A 18W quick charging, 13 Mpix rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor, USB Type-C port for lossless digital music while keeping the 3.5mm jack and VOS – pure Vernee OS experience based on the Android 6.0.

Gizchina News of the week

Vernee’s CEO already revealed that the price of Vernee Apollo X won’t be higher than $230 and with the reservation discount you can slash quite a nice chuck off that too. Just submit your email address following this link and the $40 discount coupon is yours. On the top of that you can easily join a giveaway there and maybe win one Apollo X sample for free. Presales will start on April 5th so soon enough.

Rather than this, they should just push VOS onto Apollo Lite and optimize it to proof to consumers that they can give a better user experience and just move on to another product with the next gen hardware. This is practically Apollo Lite… With minor changes. Bad product planning in my opinion. It’s a pointless model.

Especially considering that Team M.A.D. has released their nougat on their phones. It’s a shame how blind they are to meaningful updates.

I would be ashamed to release a new phone with android 6.0 while 7.1.2 is around the corner…
While vernee seems to be ok hardware wise, they fail completely, when it comes to software.

I like the Android 7.0 phone, like Blackview A9 Pro.

It’s a lie, no discounts are being given. They just tell me to wait, and then ignore me.
