China’s ZTE have announced the Prestige 2 for the US market. The entry-level phone is available for $79.99 across stores.
The Prestige 2 is a rather austere device, but at $79.99 you can say it’s fairly priced. It comes with a 5-inch 854 x 480p display, a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB on-board storage.
The phone features 5 mega-pixel cameras on both the front and rear, and is powered by a 2035mAh battery.

The ZTE Prestige 2 is available via carriers Boost and Virgin Mobile in the US. Besides that, buyers can pick one up from Best Buy for the same $79.99.
As you can probably tell by the name, the Prestige 2 is an update to the Prestige which was launch previously. Both phones certainly don’t target high-end buyers, and are most likely to find use in students’ and first-time buyers’ households.
