This is a bit of a public service announcement! We’ve just come across this sub $100 phone and it seems like a bargain!
First of we know nothing about this phone other than what is mentioned over on the the sale page of the handset. We’ve not head of Vargo before, but going of the hardware for this sub $100 phone it looks like one of the first major bargains of 2017!
The 5-inch phone comes with a full metal body, and 1920x 1080 display. A good start, and things jut get better.
Gizchina News of the week
According to the listing, the phone also has a Snapdragon 615 chipset (not the newest but pretty good), 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and even a fingerprint scanner on the rear.
The highlights don’t stop there either! The rear camera is 13 megapixel, the front is 5 megapixels and there is even NFC!
Pricing for the Vargo Ivargo is just $99.94 for the next 17 hours, after that the price will included to $129.79. What do you think of this sub $100 phone?
China your getting too aggressive with your prices somebody call the police, however this having a snapdragon isnt automaticaly great the phone needs to perform sufficiently
lol , im loving the cheap price !
Really isn’t that great of a deal. The 615 is almost a 3 year old chip. There are better $130 phones from companies people have actually heard of.
But… No one of them has NFC.
But…Most of them do.
I have bought two of this phone and I am using it as I type this, the phone is brilliant and I was absolutely shocked by the good performance of both the front and back cameras. If anyone is looking for a 5″ screen phone? This is one of the best in my opinion. There is a button on the front which I am still trying to figure out if it has another function rather than taking u back to the previous page but because the manual is in Chinese I don’t known if it has any other function. Also there is a third button next to the volume rocker I don’t know what it is for either still trying to find that out too.

Like it is a deal but I would never use the overheating 615 POS again.
I miss the time when Xiaomi Mi4C was for sale, with 100 usd you did get 50% faster snapdragon 808 and usb c type connector. When Leeco LE2 X620 3/16GB is in offer for 119 euros, it has the best bang for the buck.
I think the mi4c is still available for around $100 from fastcardtech

SD 615 from an unknown company sounds like it would be a laggy, overheating disaster.
and you are hardware designer ?
Lol, not at all. However, since very few of the mainstream offerings with the SD 615 were well optimized and most suffered from lagging and overheating, I’d be very surprised if a new company was able to do it successfully. Honestly I’d much rather have a SD 430/435, Helio p10 or even the mtk 6750t. Even the old mtk 6753 usually ran as well or better than the SD 615
haha .. just messing with ya !
