Xiaomi Mi 6 scores 170.000 on AnTutu, getting ready for tomorrow’s unveiling


Just a few hours before it’s official unveiling, the Xiaomi Mi 6 made an unannounced visit on AnTuTu Benchmarking site and after revealing all of its official specifications, scored 170.000 points, just to show off and leave.

According to the AnTuTu listing, the Mi 6 is equipped with a Snapdragon 835 SoC, Adreno 540 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and it also packs a 12MPixel main camera along with an 8MPixel selfie shooter in front. According to the database, the most awaited flagship runs on Android 7.1.1 with MIUI 8, and it is expected to have a larger sibling named Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, with a larger display and a dual camera.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be officially unveiled tomorrow as the company has been teasing it the past few days, so you could just… hold your breath and it will appear magically in front of you.

    And this time the Xiaomi compared to an Snapdragon 820 device looks… Disapointing…

    snap 835 antutu 160000, similar to Samsung s8. Not impressive. My zuk z2 scores 145000. The issue is the apple’s a10 hits 185000! So maybe qualcomm should rename snap 835 to 825 (similar to 820, 821) because it gives wrong impressions!!!!!

      Ignoring all the “low-ish antutu” thread, I’ll just let you know that qualcomm’s naming method is not like that: they changed from 82X to 83X because they changed the chip’s architecture

    I believe the most interesting aspect to know is if they upped the game on their multimedia part, because performance-wise mi5 is still flagship material and is available for 200€ more or less, so they really need to make a difference in that department.
