Xiaomi Mi 6 will be unveiled on April 19, it’s official (at last)


Well at least it’s official now. After several days of wondering what is truth and what is… rumors, Xiaomi finally came out and confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship model will be unveiled official on April 19, using a beautiful teaser with a special message inside.

The teaser image says: “You waited 203 days, we waited 7 years”, meaning that it’s been almost 203 days after the official Xiaomi MI 5S launch and almost 7 years since the founding of Xiaomi as a company of course.

The latest rumors insist that the Mi 6 flagship will come with Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4/6GB RAM, 32/64/128GB storage options, dual camera for the Mi 6 Plus model, Iris Scanner, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor etc. Stay tuned, we will have its official unveiling in 8 days – and that’s official now.

    Can you please tell me will they today show Xiaomi Mi6 or on 19 April?

    Because you told yesterday that they will presented Mi6 today.

    Actually, we also waited 7 years for a Mi phone with a good battery, microsd, flagship camera, and full band support… and we probably should wait even more…

    As much as I liked the Mi 5, I will be disappointed if the Mi 6 looks very similar. After coming out with the minimal bezel Mi Mix and the current trend in that direction from LG and Samsung, I thought that the Mi 6 would have smaller bezels than the Mi 5. If not, it will seem odd to me.
