Zopo is a Chinese maker once popular here at GizChina. However, the brand has faded in popularity in the past years, but apparently is still slogging it in the market.
Today we learnt of a new phone from Zopo that went live in the Indian market. Known as the Zopo Color X, the device is priced at 11,999 INR or $185. Unfortunately for Zopo, the phone finds itself in the toughest price segment of the Indian market — one that’s dominated by Chinese OEMs including Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Gionee, Coolpad, and more.
Gizchina News of the week
Coming back to the device, the Zopo Color X is a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 powered device with 3GB RAM and 16GB on-board storage. An 8 mega-pixel camera on the rear and a 5 mega-pixel one on the front complete the device, along with a 2500mAh battery that supplies juice to the components.
The Color X will be available in the offline market in India starting the 20th of April.
Below average specs at above average price. Mediocre design. Fire the product manager. A device that no one needs.
Zopo are crazy.:D There are many better phones for this pricepoint.

LOL @ 6737!
The phone will boot a limited number of times, and the only app that can run will be the stock launcher.
I like blackview new big battery smartphone p2 lite, with the cheaper price, it`s worth to buy.
