Ulefone Power 2 Unboxing, Hands On, First Impressions!

The original Ulefone Power was a massive success for Ulefone, and the updated version looks no less promising. Boasting the same 6050mAh battery in a completely new metal body, the Ulefone Power 2 looks to capitalize on its previous successes with an improved phone. I just received this phone a few days ago and here is the official GizChina unboxing.

Ulefone Power 2 Unboxing

The box is quite well designed and nicely made. In fact, I realized that I prefer well designed cardboard boxes to metal boxes like the ones UMi used for their UMi Z/Z Pros as those metal boxes were pretty flimsy. Presentation here is very good, opening up the box we see the phone, a charger, a cable. It also comes with a case, a tempered glass screen protector, and a stand as well.

Ulefone Power 2 Hands On

This phone is hefty. It’s really heavy, but I don’t fault the phone because it is completely metal and has a gargantuan battery. One more thing to note is that because it is a full metal phone, you no longer get the option for removable backs like the original Ulefone Power.

The phone is also quite big and thick, which could be a con for certain people (like me). That being said, its very well made and quite elegant. However it does look a little generic though.

Ulefone Power 2 First Impressions

What are my thoughts? Hmm, mixed to say the least. I have no doubt battery life will be strong, but the question is how strong? The Redmi Note 4X has incredible battery life from just a 4100mAh battery, and I believe the Ulefone Power 2 will be quite challenged to match or even beat the Redmi Note 4X. A full review will be coming soon.

The note 4x won’t be beat the 625 is that good not even a battery of roughly 50% more will close the gap, what a godly soc truely remarkable one of the best phones socs mtk keeps talking about efficiency they can learn from the 625

  SD625 has a better process, 16 nanometer, so it will be very power, but the price is also high .

It’s a damn shame since mtk phone usually run monster batteries but don’t have an efficiency partner like the 625 barring the zenfone3 zoom .. all that screen on time for games 🙂

If i didn’t have Ulefone Power 1, i will definitely buy the Power 2. Since i have it, i will wait for the Power 3 next year. I can’t say i trust the Ulefone brand, but i trust the Power model, which is real good.

  I had 3 Ulefone power phones all died or broke very easily so I can’t trust them again. Number 2 looks nice but why would you want on screen buttons and a budget mtk processor. Much better phones out there with just as good battery life.

I like the design of the ulefone Power 2 because it is no longer “like” one of the other phones, it is worth sure that the box is my favorite style and it looks very sturdy and sturdy. Prefabricated fingerprints show a good choice. I hope you can test it for GPS because ulefone says it has excellent GPS performance and I hope you can verify it. GPS is important to me.

Ulefone power 2 looks like a big guy, huge battery, 4GBRAM and 64GB ROM is a great combination. In Poland it will be very popular.

If big battery and thin body can’t be available at the same time, i choose the big battery, because energy shortage is like a pain in the ass.

Looking forward to the full review. So far, it has all what i need, not bad chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, big battery, and Android 7.0.

  That’s what I have got now 😀 I thought mui would not be nice compared to stock Android but I am converted now. Phone seems to be very well made too.

I dont like power 2, I think blackview p2 is nice, also p2 lite is cheaper.
