Just after the success of the MGCOOL Explorer 1S and the more budget-friendly Explorer ES, MGCOOL have decided to launch yet another action cam, it’s called Explorer Pro and the company promises enhanced performance over past generation for less than $70. Let’s have a quick look at its features!
MGCOOL’s Explorer Pro main highlight is what they call 6G Sharkeye wide-angle lens, which allows to capture images and videos with a less distorted look. They say Sharkeye technology makes this camera better than the GoPro Hero 4 in terms of wide view, light transmission and color accuracy.
The action camera is equipped with a Sony IMX179 sensor which can shoot images with a resolution of up to 16MP. The sensor’s BSI (Back Side Illumination) helps to record high quality images even in low-light situations and is more power efficient.
