Revealing of the Doogee Mix model at the Global Sources fair in HongKong few days ago has caused a bit of an uproar in the community, especially in the light of the announced sub-$200 price. Granted, the bezel-less renders are a bit if a stretch when seeing the phone in real life, but still it can be a very looking piece.
And Doogee are trying to convince us with the help of IR thermometer it will be also pretty cool phone. Literally. Compared directly with the Xiaomi Mi Mix it will be sporting way lower temperatures of the battery all across the board on all tests. Doogee claim that it’s thanks to their plating vacuum deposition technology in building the stainless steel frame, which should allegedly perform better heat-wise than the polycarbonate plastic or ceramics.
Gizchina News of the week
Having the more power-efficient Helio P25 processor onboard instead of the performance heated beast of Snapdragon 821 certainly can’t hurt too. But of course the downside is the lower horsepower under the hood too. Anyway can’t wait to see the Doogee Mix myself to judge the phone with my own hands and eyes.
Well actually it’s quite good for power efficiency. I have the X20 and it’s decent where power efficiency is concerned.
Having those low power cores really helps as I can see it often just using those low power A53s.
Even under intense usage my X20 powered Redmi Note 4 doesn’t get too hot so it’s quite nice.
Most importantly: How is the sound and speech quality on this design?
Wait.. Isn’t the Helio P25 the chip we are talking about?
Also… What happen with the Helio X30 version?
