It seems that Xiaomi factory workers are really happy with their work and… for a good reason as we can understand. A recent photo that leaked a couple of days ago, shows 10 Xiaomi workers standing in front of a huge pile of boxes containing the first Xiaomi Mi 6 units, that are scheduled to be shipped to their perspective owners.
Gizchina News of the week
In case you forgot, next Friday (April 28) is the day for all Xiaomi fans all over the world, because that’s the date the Mi 6 model will be launched in China. Pre orders are already soaring according to information, and more that 600.000 customers of JD.com have already expressed interest to take part in the first flash sale this coming Friday. If we are to combine this number with other registrations in retailers, then we are looking at a possible 2 million registrations for the handset across the many different Chinese platforms that are selling the phone.
This seems only logical, since the Snapdragon 835 powered device comes at a very affordable price – given its impressive specifications obviously. The Mi 6 is available in White, Black and Blue colors, since the silver variant is being delayed due to manufacturing issues with its electrocoating.
I purchased this then changed my mind. With only 12mp/8mp camera, and, reportedly battery just lasting a day and no headfone jack, is have purely been buying it for the processing power. Seems a bit of a let down for me
Pre-order is a stupid thing anyway, in every possible case
What’s wrong with a 12mp camera anyway? We all know that bigger mp doesn’t mean better camera. Google Pixel uses a 12mp camera and yet it has one of the best smartphone camera. I’m not saying that the camera on Mi6 is good cause I don’t have the unit yet but rather it’s naive to judge it based on the mp that it has. Headphone jack is a bummer but then again, personally, for me i use bluetooth so it doesn’t effect me plus an adapter is included in the package anyway if I ever use direct connection.
You do know that more mp on a camera means absolutely nothing if the lens on it sucks and it’s not properly calibrated in the phone. I have an S7 with 12 mp camera and it beats every China phone.
