Gretel is on a roll this year and has already unveiled its 3rd Android smartphone for the year.
Launching shortly after the release of the Gretel A9 in March and A7 in April is the all new Gretel A6. This new 5.5inch Android handset intends to bring the same value for money that previous Gretel devices have offered but with a new brushed alloy body for a premium feel.
Gretel says that the alloy body used on the Gretel A6 gives their new phone an attractive design and will stay looking good for longer as it doesn’t attract fingerprints.
The metal body also houses a 360-degree fingerprint scanner on the rear for security, rear 13 megapixel main camera from Samsung while on the face is a curved 2.5D panel to compliment the high-end design.

Gretel has sourced their 5.5inch panel from Sharp and claims that the HD panel gives accurate colour reproduction, bright whites and allows for easy reading in daylight conditions.
Not wanting to just offer a smartphone that looks good, Gretel has been smart enough to spec their A6 well while not increasing the RRP to an extortionate amount.
Mediatek provides an MT6737 chipset, there is 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, SD card and dual sim support, AAC box speaker and 3000mAh battery. The most impressive part of the specification though is the retail price which is just $89.99!
Gretel has already arranged presses for the A6 through online stores Gearbest, Tomtop, Coolicool, Aliexpress and from the 4th May the phone will also be available on Ebay and Amazon.
