Android Wear 2.0 update graces Huawei Watch 2

Back when Google had just unveiled the latest version of Android Wear, most companies were quick to announce when their wearables would get the update. Amongst these companies was Huawei, promising that the update would definitely be coming to their Huawei Watch 2.

Unfortunately, issues with the update soon rose to the surface, forcing it to be delayed further down the line. Only early last month did Huawei announce that the issues were finally fixed and the update would coming to the device. Now, after a month of waiting, the update has finally landed.

If you have a Huawei Watch 2, you’ll want to turn on your Wi-fi and go to the ‘system is up to date screen’. Click the screen repeatedly until the device acknowledges the update and starts downloading it. Then, let the device do the rest of the work. If you’re having trouble getting it to appear, you can also download and sideload it from Reddit here.
