With its official unveiling date almost near it’s only normal that we keep seeing leaked images, renders or even render videos of the upcoming HTC U flagship model.
Today Onleaks posted a set of HTC U renders along with a relevant video that shows the device dressed in a quite “hot” red color, just in time for the summer. According to the leakster, this set of renders is based on CAD (Computer-assisted-design) drawings, that have presumably leaked from the company or a case maker. So they are probably really close the the real thing.

The images confirm that the device will pack a USB Type-C slot on its bottom, along with a speaker grille, an in-cal microphone hole, and a – presumably- noise cancellation mic. There’s a front facing fingerprint scanner just below the display, which is rumored to be flat (not edge), with a size of 5,45 inches. On the glossy back of the HTC U we can spot the main 12MP camera with a round ring and a dual LED flash next to it.
If rumors are correct, then the upcoming flagship model should be equipped with a Snapdragon 835 SoC, along with 4/6GB of RAM, a 3000 mAh battery inside, a 12MP main camera and a 16MP selfie camera.
