China’s Meizu have announced their M5 smartphone for the Indian market. The phone was announced earlier today.
Meizu is still enjoying a rather small pie in the market share in the Indian market, which is currently in the midst of a war between a bunch of Chinese phonemakers including Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, and more.
Coming back to Meizu, the M5 is announced at 10,499 INR or roughly $160. This puts the phone in the price range currently dominated by the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Coolpad Cool1, etc.
