Huawei’s latest device is the budget Huawei Y7

Huawei’s Y-series are usually targeted at the budget and mid-range markets, and the same applies to their new Y7. The device features a fairly budget spec sheet, along with some extras and let downs. So, let’s take a closer look at the new Huawei Y7.

The Huawei Y7 comes with the octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, along with a measly 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The display is a 5.5-inch HD unit with 2.5D glass, and there’s also a surprisingly large 4,000mAh battery in there.

The device comes with a normal camera package of a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The Y7 measures in at 153.6×76.4×8.35mm and weighs around 165 grams. Aside from that, the device will also ship with the latest version of EmUI, 5.1.

Pricing for the Huawei Y7 has yet to revealed, though we expect it to be slightly higher than the average budget device. Hopefully, Huawei will price the Y7 well enough for it to be a competitive device in the market.
