The newest leak regarding the Samsung Galaxy J series phones, shows the specs and press renders of the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7. The J series is Samsung’s foray into the mid range market.
From the design perspective, the J5 will have a full metal body with the antenna lines running on the top and bottom on the rear and a vertically arranged single camera setup. The front will have a 2.5D glass and a home button which will double as a fingerprint sensor.

On the spec front, as the comparison chart shows, the Galaxy J5 will sport a 5.2 inch 720p Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy J5 will be powered by the octa core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the Galaxy J7 will sport a 13MP f/1.7 sensor on the back with LED flash and a 13MP f/1.9 snapper on the front with LED flash. The smartphone will be fueled by a 3,000mAh battery just like its predecessor.
As compared to the Galaxy J5, the galaxy J7 will sport a 5.5 inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. It will feature the same camera modules as the Galaxy J5. The J7 will be powered by the octa core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will be fueled by a 3,600mAh battery, an upgrade over its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy J series’, J5 and J7 are slated for a June release with the pricing at 279 euros($310) and 339 euros($377) respectively.
