Micromax owned subsidiary Yu have announced the Yureka Black, a youth-focused budget phone.
The Yureka Black happens to feature 4GB of RAM, which looks fairly attractive at the price point at which the phone is offered — 9000 Indian Rupees, or roughly $140.
For the money, the Yureka Black packs quite a bit of tech. This includes a quad-core Snapdragon 430 SoC which is paired with the aforementioned 4GB of RAM. Besides that, here’s what the phone features:

The device comes in a couple of colours and textures — Chrome Black with glossy finish ,and Matte Black with smooth finish, is priced at Rs. 8999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting midnight of June 6th.
In the words of the company CMO: “Most of the consumers in the age group of 18-25 years felt that all the smartphones in the sub 10K category look almost the same. With Yureka Black, we are targeting these consumers who believe that the phones should be a reflection of their personality.”
