The first Flyme 6 update (6.1.0.0A version) is now available from Meizu for all supported phones, bringing a set of new features to some specific models like the Meizu Pro 6 Plus, Pro 6, Pro 6s, Pro5, MX4 Pro, MX6, MX4, M5 Note, M3 Note, M2 Note, M1 Note, U20, U20 and M3X.
You can find the update at Meizu’s official website, note however that if you run on Flyme 4 and Flyme 4.5 you will have to first upgrade to Flyme 5 in order to receive the Flyme 6 OTA update.
Gizchina News of the week
In case you own a newer model like Meizu E2 then you will just have to wait until mid-August for this update, sorry guys. According to its changelog the new Flyme 6 OS brings several improvements like a screen recording function that now supports sound, better system stability, lower power consumption, optimised Wechat video quality and the inclusion of April 2017 Android Security Patch.
You can find the whole changelog list here.
I am still using M1 Note and i am very happy with this phone. It does its job. There is no significant improvments for upgrading to m5 note. I mean, while Meizu sucks on hardware improvenemt side, good at software update side. Thanks guys.
