Yepp, things are not looking good for the once upon a time innovative LeEco as the latest news mention that the company has serious troubles – once again.
In case you don’t remember, LeEco faced a lawsuit recently by a Chinese ad agency for non-payment of marketing fees, and recently laid off about 50% of its workforce trying to stay afloat in the market. That’s why they have also stopped releasing new smartphones during the past few months and information regarding their future projects is non-existent. Things are even worse however, as the company seems to be shutting down some of its mobile phone service centres across China.
Gizchina News of the week
Earlier today an internet user uploaded a photo of a notice posted on the door of one of LeEco’s third-party service centres located in Shanghai, mentioning that the specific service center has been suspended due to operational adjustments and that the shop no longer accepts LeEco phones.
Add this to a purported letter sent by a LeEco phone repair station to a fan mentioning that the repair station has no spare parts to fix his phone, as the manufacturer hasn’t provided any, for months now! Things don’t look good for LeEco as you can understand but we truly hope that the once vibrant company will be able to pull through and re-emerge in the market.
And last year I was thinking to buy LeEco Le Pro 3, hopefully I did choose OnePlus 3T in the end 🙂
