Well that’s not difficult to understand, given the fact that the OnePlus 5 has been hugely promoted during the past few weeks and it packs the most powerful SoC around at this time (Snapdragon 835).
Well that’s not difficult to understand, given the fact that the OnePlus 5 has been hugely promoted during the past few weeks and it packs the most powerful SoC around at this time (Snapdragon 835).
Carl Pei (OnePlus Co-founder) confirmed the news with a tweet from his personal account, even though the device will be globally available from June 27! While he didn’t provide an exact number for the sales so far, he was eager to share some photos from long queues around the world, at special pop-up locations where people could buy the phone.
As you can see the queues look similar to the ones we used to see when a new iPhone was launched and show that the OnePlus brand has in fact a decent kind of fan loyalty.
As we have already informed you a couple of days ago, the OnePlus 5 is the next flagship killer of the Chinese company, packing a set of dual cameras, 6/8GB of RAM, DCI-P3 support, Global band support and a number of new additions for OxygenOS.
The device is expected to be globally available starting June 27 with a price that starts at $479 for the 6GB RAM variant and stops at $539 for the 8GB RAM variant.
