The Moto X4 was rumored to be unveiled on the 30th of June. But a tweet from tipster Andri Yatim states that the Moto E4 Plus will be unveiled on June 30. The Moto X4’s launch might be delayed.
We do not know the reason behind the delay. But a line from the tweet, “Thanks, Qualcomm”, hints towards a manufacturing issue related to the SoC that powers the Moto X4. Reports state that Qualcomm is having problem fulfilling the demand for the Snapdragon 660 chipset, which is rumored to power the X4.
June 30 will be anticlimactic. #MotoE4+ launch and MAYBE a mention of Z2, instead of scheduled X4 launch. Thanks, Qualcomm.
