It seems that Sharp is working hard to unveil their latest high end smartphone this summer, and the latest listing of a mystery phone on GFXBench confirms the speculation.
Gizchina News of the week
The smartphone has Sharp FS8016 for model number and packs a 5,5 inch full HD display with a peculiar resolution of 2040 x 1080 pixels – meaning that it will be a quite tall, slim model. According to the GFXBench listing the device will be equipped with an 8-core Snapdragon SoC clocked at 2.2GHz – probably the Snapdragon 660 SoC- along with Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
This FS8016 model runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and could be a decent high end smartphone from the Japanese company in their efforts to make a comeback to the high-end market.
