LEAGOO T5 Global Presale Kicks Off – Save $50 Now

Chinese phone manufacturer LEAGOO just kicked off presales of their latest flagship, the LEAGOO T5. The handset features a premium design with a 7.9mm thin full metal body and a dual camera setup on the back. You can pre-order the LEAGOO T5 now for $149.99, that’s $50 off retail price; but before you do that, let’s have a closer look at the phone!

The LEAGOO T5 is what the company calls their flagship killer and while it doesn’t pack high end hardware, it still offers a great bang for the buck in the mid-range market. Other then the relatively low price, LEAGOO T5’s selling points are the rear dual camera setup which is made of a SONY 13.0MP main camera with F/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor size, 1.12um*1.12um pixel size and a secondary OV 5.0MP to create DSLR-like photos with bokeh effect; that means the subject is on focus meanwhile the background gets blurred.

LEAGOO also explains there’s a 52mm lens which is probably on the secondary 5MP to create great portrait photos. The cameras also equip a dual-cam scheme, binocular stereo vision and a depth learning algorithm. On the front we find another shooter produced by OV with a resolution of 13MP, accompanied by an LED and instant beauty features.

Getting inside the phone we discover the phone is powered by a good performing MediaTek 6750T paired with a Mali-T860 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

As we mentioned earlier, the LEAGOO T5 comes with a full metal body that is only 7.9mm thick, using what LEAGOO calls “Fresh ID” design, combining curves with premium materials to make it feel good in the hands.

Screen wise, the LEAGOO T5 packs a super common 5.5-inch IPS display at Full HD resolution with 97% NTSC color saturation, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 178º viewing angles.

LEAGOO’s T5 comes with a 3000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver 8 hours of video playback and 36 hours of normal use. The battery can be charged quickly at 5V2A and uses high-capacity lithium core which bring a more stable battery life and make it last longer.

The LEAGOO T5 works 4G LTE networks and supports Cat.6 protocol, VoLTE and speeds up too 300Mbps. The phone’s fingerprint scanner has been placed on the front, it adopts Smart Touch technology to improve the scanning success ratio day after day.
