After a quite long resting period, the Chinese accessories maker MGCOOL is back with some info regarding the launch of a new action camera, the shooter will be called MGCOOL Explorer 2C and it’s said to come with surprisingly interesting features.
The MGCOOL Explorer 2C will be the successor of the Explorer ES, Explorer 1S, and Explorer Pro, and it’ll take some features from the upcoming Explorer 2.

MGCOOL’s Explorer 2C selling point is the presence of a big 2-inch display on the back and a 7-parts glass HD 170-degree wide angle lens. The action camera will also be equipped with spot metering, 3-axis gyroscope, GPS and motion detection to pause or resume video recording.
The MGCOOL Explorer 2C will come with a 20MP image sensor and it’ll be able to record 4K videos (frame rate still unknown). With the camera you’ll be also getting a waterproof case for up to 30 meters underwater rating.
