There’s no stopping now guys, these concept videos will keep coming our way, you’d better get used to them. The newest of them is all about Xiaomi Mi 7 and comes from a third-party concept designer and NOT Xiaomi, so enjoy it but don’t expect too much at this time.
Have a look at the video below and you should see that the concept comes with a nicely designed, bezel-less display but retains the metal body covered with glass that was used in the Mi 6. The device is basically flat in front (no curved sides on its display) and this makes it look a lot like a Xiaomi Mi MIX variant I guess.
Gizchina News of the week
At the back side however, things are quite different, and we can see its curves (it looks a lot like a Mi 6 model) along with a dual camera setup with a 16MP rear sensor apiece, with both OIS and PDAF and a dual-tone LED flash located on the left side of the cameras. The concept Mi 7 has capacitive keys on the right side of the phone and comes with a 16MP front camera and an iris scanner located upfront.
Other rumors insist that the new Xiaomi Mi 7 flagship will be equipped with a 5,7 inch QHD AMOLED display (18:9 aspect ratio), 97% screen-to-body ratio, a brand new Snapdragon 845 SoC onboard and Android 8.0 of course 🙂
Wishful thinking, or not?
