The AllCall Rio with it’s redefined design and affordable price has been getting the interest of many users. The smartphone has been two weeks on presale now and the first buyers have already or are soon getting their new phone. In this article we’re going through some of the features that made the AllCall Rio appealing to many of them.
Design
The design of the AllCall Rio is definitely one of its selling points. The handset adopts the finest 3D curved glass on top of its 5-inch display, which together with the curved back cover, creates a very smooth feeling in the hands. The AllCall Rio also features a full metal frame, manufactured through CNC machining and nano-injection molding to ensure a premium look.
Screen Technology
The 5-inch screen coated in 3D glass does not just look good, it’s also super durable. AllCall has indeed covered the screen with a 1.8mm thick glass protector, which is double as thick as ordinary glass. This means better resistance to shuttering and scratching. The glass layer has been created through 400 hours of processing and at temps up to 400-degrees Celsius, bringing an hardness of 8H on the Mohs scale.
Camera
Gizchina News of the week
The AllCall Rio is equipped with the trendy dual camera setup on the back, with a main 8MP Sony shooter and a secondary 2MP one which will allow you to take DSLR-like photos with a shallow depth of field (also known as bokeh). At the front there’s another good camera for the selfie-lovers.
Android 7.0 Nougat
AllCall’s Rio comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The latest Google OS is lighter and more power efficient than past generations. It also sports new features such as split screen that allows you to run two apps side by side, direct notification reply, bundled notifications and more.
Battery
Albeit quite small, the AllCall Rio still packs a relatively big 2700mAh battery which should grant a full day of autonomy. According to some tests run by AllCall the phone has a 3 days standby time, can do 16 hours of calls and play video or videogames for more than 6 hours.
