Nokia 8 press render leaks, it looks beautiful

Evan Blass did it again and a few moments ago he tweeted the first official press render image of the upcoming Nokia 8 model, scheduled to be unveiled on July 31 according to rumors.

The Nokia 8

If what we learn so far is true, then this is Nokia’s flagship model for 2017 and it comes with some impressive features. The Nokia 8 is expected to packĀ a 5.3-inch QHD (2,560×1,440) touchscreen, along with a Snapdragon 835 chipset at the helm and 4 or 6GB of RAM, depending on which version you buy.

The press render shows its dual camera in all of its glory (with the Zeiss logo positioned between the two lenses), confirming that it will quite possibly have impressive imaging capabilities.Ā Each sensor will have 13 MP resolution, and the phone will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat as you’d expect.

Rumor says that the Nokia 8 should come in at least four color schemes at launch – blue, “steel”, gold/blue, and gold/copper at a possible price around ā‚¬600.

ā‚¬600 are kidding me!? I thought Chinese phones are suppose to cheap

Well, Huawei and ZTE Nubia are Chinese and their flagships aren’t exactly cheap either.

Just a shame nobody thinks of a physical shutter button at your index finger in landscape mode anymore (Ć” la Nubia Z9). Otherwise it’s looking promising. Dual camera set-up icw Zeiss. Fingerprintscanner on the front, touch sensitive naviation buttons (I hate on-screen navigation), 3.5mm headphone jack, high-res display, fairly compact size (opposed to the 5.5+ trend). It’s that I have a Huawei P10 Plus DS already, otherwise I’d be tempted to give it a go.

Look at that bezels, completely missed new design trend.

Assuming this render is accurate, dimensions should be 150.3 x 73.2 mm which is quite big for such a small screen.
