Gizchina News of the week

it seems that we were all to harsh on the matter, because a new leak today, confirms that there will be a high end variant of that model, equipped with a much more powerful Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6GB of RAM and the same dual camera positioned on its back. This variant will have an impressive performance if you take into account that the SD600 chipsetĀ even beats the Snapdragon 820 in terms of benchmarks. This high end variant is expected to come with 6GB of RAM (as we foretold you) and 64GB of storage.

Rumors say that the Xiaomi Mi 5X will launch with a price tag of 294$ but we don’t know so farĀ if this is the price of high-end variant or the low-end variant that we told you about yesterday, so this will be revealed in coming days.

And despite that strong SoC, it still will record videos at 15fps, where other much weaker phones from other companies can 30fps.
