Samsung has released the J7 Nxt, a budget piece with low-to-mid range internals and Android 7.0 Nougat running out of the box.
Coming to India with a price tag of 11,490 INR or $178 USD, the J7 Nxt comes with a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor with 2GB of ram, a 5.5 inch super AMOLED display and a 3,000 mAh battery. Included is 16GB of internal storage with the option to expand to 256GB via microSD and a removable back panel giving easy access to sim slots and the battery.

One of the great features of these budget devices is the removable battery, letting users carry a second one that is charged for when they are running low. 4G VoLTE and WiFi is on-board as is Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Gear support is included here but no S-Pen support which may be no surprise given the screen size.
Maybe the best part of the J7 Nxt is the camera. On paper, it sounds decent with an F 1.9 aperture lens and a LED flash; but day-to-day real use will be its true litmus test as buyers begin to buy the handset. We can at least hope for some ability to light the darkest of photo opportunities.
The J7 Nxt is available through the Samsung shop and will be available in retailers across the country.
